Have you lost your decree absolute and need a copy to :

• Re-marry in England or Wales?
• Re-marry abroad?
• Claim your UK Pension?
• Buy property etc abroad?

We will find and supply you with a certified copy.

We will need the following information:

• Full name of wife, including maiden name (wife's name before marriage).
  
• Date / year of marriage  (The fee includes a ten year search if unknown or not sure)

• Date / year decree nisi was made absolute (when you divorced)
• Case / file number
• The court where the absolute was granted, and the certificate was filed

Certificates for use outside England and Wales must also be signed by a judge, which we can include at no extra cost. Please tell us if this is required.

If you were not married and divorced in the UK, contact us to discuss your requirements.   
 
Fees include searches five years either side of the year you quote.
 
Some Courts produce copies within one week, others can take up to four weeks.  The average is two weeks.

If you need the certificate urgently, please put urgent in 'other information' on the order form, and the reason why. We will make a special request to the Court.
However, please note we cannot guarantee a specific time.
